Michael James “MJ” Tamondong born in June 14th, 1977 Cagayan De Oro City, Mindanao, Philippines. MJ is the youngest of his family and grew part of his life in the Philippines but move to the US San Francisco, California in January 18, 1990 along with his parents for a better living. He then became a US citizen October, 03, 2006.

Growing up MJ was active so when he moved to the US with his parents it was a very tough transition starting all over again at first, but was glad sports was his passion because without it on and off the court it was only his form of communication and where he can express himself through others.

Other than just playing indoor and outdoor, grass, sand, coed 2’s, 4’s, 6’s, 9’s for recreational. MJ went to play Boy’s Volleyball for George Washington Eagles High School in San Francisco, Ca and when the Boy’s Volleyball was finally sanctioned in his senior year in 1995 and came in Second. In George Washington Eagles High School went against Lincoln Mustangs High School to the CIF Boys Volleyball Championship San Francisco, California against in 1995 but came in unfortunately in second would have a chance winning it but due to his own freak right index finger cut injury after playoffs he hurt himself. Then did not fully recover playing in the Championship round.

He then played Northern California Volleyball (N.C.V.A.) - USA Volleyball (USAV) Club and form his own team International Flava volleyball 6 man team (iFLAVA) Level Played (B-AAA). Won A Gold Level Championship.

As well he also played 9-Man North American Chinese Invitational Volleyball Tournament (N.A.C.I.V.T.) where he first played for Suyhn Fung and then form his own team thereafter Lung Fu (Dragon Tiger).

After then recession hits in 2009 where he used to work at a company with circumstance came along out of a job and stepping down any volleyball level of activities to look for a new passion and to keep on pushing it.

Now a former athlete the next chapter of his life in 2009 he was out of shape mentally and physically. He then got into bodybuilding and fitness as an outlet not for a contest but for motivation to himself and the rest is Shredded Beyond ABSolute history. He finally joined Bodybuilding.com and created a profile so he can track his progress in the ups and downs of his body transformation at https://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/sixp8ck.

Past employment worked for Copeland’s Sports Superstore, New Balance, Sport’s Authority, General Nutrition Center (GNC) and finally found his new passion for work he then started full time as an Athletic Shoe Fit Specialist position in for On The Run Shoes in San Francisco, California https://www.ontherunshoes.com. In January 23rd, 2017 MJ Tamondong aka Sixp8ck - Sneakerhead Geek is also now the owner and operator of Shredded Beyond ABSolute https://www.shreddedbeyondabsolute.com where he motivates others to keeps on pushing it. Sports was life but he finally found come into a full circle where he loves shoes and weights.
